MS Access to PostgreSQL in Ruby

Im looking to have a current MS Access database mapped into a new SQL database with slightly different tables and columns. I would need someone to help me extract the correct info from the current database and write a script/use a program to do the conversion. There is about 15 - 20 tables and roughly 500 - 10,000 rows per table. If you have knowledge of database architecture that is most suitable for Rails, that would be great.
