Energy storage system devices (ESS) could be a solution of Transient stability problem in Smart Grid technology. The best storage system device among these devices is "SMES" which is Superconducting Magmatic Energy Storage device.
Using this device in Smart Grid as compensated system if the transient happened. The transient happens by fault or any damage in the grid. So, this device will give energy from the stored energy to remove the transient and to make stability to the Smart Grid.
This device should be controlled by controller such as PI, PID, MPC, Puzzy controller. Some researchers been done some of these controllers.

I am gonna create a Smart Grid Model via Matlab. Then, using SMES device in this model and control SMES by 2 kinds of controller which are MPC and Fuzzy. And then make comparison between the results and see which one is the best controller to control SMES and gives better result depending on my model.
The Smart grid consists of 5 buses, wind and/or PV, some loads as consumers
