My proofreading package includes:

Removing any spelling, grammar and punctuation errors.
Vanquishing all and any typos (typographical errors).
Ensuring that your document follows the “house style”, eg that capital letters and spellings are formatted in a consistent way. This will be according to which style guide you choose to use. (Please see FAQs for what style guide I use as a default.)
Querying any typesetting errors or mistakes within formatting, eg, if the wrong font size or font-family style has been used.
Making sure everything is spelled using the “British English” version of English (as opposed to “American English”).
Verifying that any illustrations and their labels or captions correspond correctly with each other and with the rest of the text.
Confirming that page numbers, headings, line spacings etc are presented in a consistent way and that the document as a whole is presented consistently and within the brief you provide.
Querying factual inconsistencies, like names and addresses that may not have been used correctly.
Using the internet and other resources to check the legitimacy of phone numbers, URLs and other links that may be included in your text.
Checking that any cross-references within the text have been applied correctly.

What seller need from the Buyer to get started?

A "brief" of what you want and more specifically, DON'T want, for example, if you want to use a particular style guide, or wish to use bold type for emphasis.
