1. I will share a website link with shortlisted candidates and open it
2. Click the Blue Square in the top right corner with three white lines.
3. A drop-down should appear, from that drop-down you click courts.
4. Scroll down to the Municipal Court section.
5. Click on Civil Division.
6. You should be brought to a page that says Municipal Court - Civil Division Municipal Courts / Home in a blue rectangle.
7. Scroll down to E-filing and Online Search, under this there should be two subheadings the first one should have a computer icon and say CLAIMS Municipality Court- Civil the second subheading should have a magnifying glass icon and should say Search Municipal Courts- Civil click on this one.
8. It should bring you to a website that has a header saying, 'The Philadelphia Courts First Judicial District of Pennsylvania' or if this link doesn't work
9. There should be three boxes on this page look at the box that has the header of Public User, click on Login As Public User.
10. Next, type the letters into the box and read the Terms of Service then click I Accept
11. On the next page you should see a rectangle split into two colors blue on the top white on the bottom, the blue side should say CMS (Case Management System) the White side says Search. Click Search.
12. You should come to a page that headers CMS - Search Screen, scroll all the way down until you reached Type: Case Number (or CaseID).
13. Leave the type where it is.
14. In the box next to search type LT-19-04 and press Go!
15. Under Search a blue header should appear that has three parts 1.Case Number 2. Plaintiff 3. Defendant
******* You will start scrubbing the data so you will have to scroll to the bottom and advance yourself through the list.*******
16. Under Case Number, click the link for example the link should look like LT-19-04 (Only click on the Case Numbers that have real Plaintiffs name next to them, Skip the names that have LLC, LP, Inc., ASSOCIATES, or Philadelphia Housing Authority, etc. So if it is anything but a first and last name, DO NOT click on the Case Number next to it.
17. When you click on the Case Number link you will be brought to a page that requires you to enter in the letters and numbers you see above, Enter them just how you see them (With caps if there are caps.)
18. Once entered, hit the Continue button.
19. Under a Light Blue sub-header you should see Complaint Claim, there should be a name under it, Copy that name, Property Address and Attorney linked to the Landlord and enter each one into separate columns in excel. For example, the Address might look like this:
3091 MEMPHIS STREET, PHILADELPHIA, PA 19134 Also copy each lawyers name and put it in a separate column in the excel
20. Once you have collected this information you would go to our website
21. Search for the Address tab, type in the address in the first box. Next type in the city, state, and zip code in a second box. (City- Philadelphia State- Pennsylvania or PA Zip Code- Whatever it says on the property or looking up)
22. Click the dark blue icon at the bottom with the Microphone Glass
23. Search / Scroll for the same name that you found on the court website.
24. Once you find this name you hit View All Details.
25. In this example the name that you would be looking for would be JOHN J LOUGHLIN, because he was the same name you looked up on the court website.
26. Copy their Age, Current Address Only if they live outside of PA, All Phone Numbers, (If there are no phone numbers Skip that lead)
27. If needed scroll down all the way to the bottom and hit the next button.
28. Once you have completed all of the steps and gathered all the information stated, enter them in an Excel Spreadsheet, and send the .csv
29. I expect 200 to be completed in 2 hours
***To assure that you are gathering the data correctly, please send me a picture or .csv with the first 5-10 names that you scrub. I will verify that the data is being sorted and the job done correctly before you dedicate 4 hours of work.***
