Hello everyone! I look at yeast under microscopes often, and must count hundreds of cells. I want to make an app that uses image analysis to count those yeast automatically - the yeast are just circles, some of which (the dead ones) are dyed blue. At the moment I have about 80 photos (with maybe 500 cells apiece) to train an image analysis system or AI system with. The cell locations have also been labeled in the program Labellmg, if that helps you. I believe that an artificial intelligence approach would fare best, due to the differences in lighting, contrast, focus, and yeast strain morphology between people's camera and microscope equipment.
If you think you could help with this project, please let me know. I need an image analysis wizard.
Thank you for your interest!
