We have 2 websites hosted on DigitalOcean server with about 600,000 visitors per day and we use MongoDB atlas for our database.
We need to change that infrastructure and move our websites to EC2 instance and our database to Amazon Aurora Serverless.
We are able to create Amazon Aurora Serverless and connect that database to our websites, Also we will migrate our websites.
All we need an AWS expert to create for us EC2 instance with a Load Balancer with an Auto Scaling.
Some Info:
- We don't want to pay a lot for unused resources, we need to pay as little as possible.
- We need our instance to be in Europe, the cheapest region in Europe would be great.
- Our server on DigitalOcean costs us $80/mo 16GB Ram - 6 CPUs - 320 GB SSD disk - 6 TB transfer.
- Our server on DigitalOcean with CentOs 7.5 x64 and we setup cPanel & WHM on it.
- Our memory usage avg. is %20 and CPU usage avg. is %24
- We had a very bad experience with EC2 last year, we bought t2.2xlarge with $0.4288 per hour, so we thought that we will pay only about $308 per month, but we figure out that we paid for the instance plus the bandwidth plus the storage.
With DigitalOcean we pay for the server only.
