We are looking for a few individuals who are familiar with BC Chemistry 11 and are capable of recording short video walkthroughs.
The individual(s) must have strong Chemistry 11 knowledge, and have strong English proficiency to verbally communicate how to arrive at the solutions. The individual must be able to articulate clearly.
We will provide Chemistry problems paired with a worked out solution.
Your task will be to demonstrate how to solve the problem and surround it with commentary!
The video is normally 2-5 minutes in length.
Some of the example topics: atomic theory, chemical naming, mole, solutions etc
You will need a quiet place to record and good audio input (a good microphone).
Each lesson has 2-3 practice problems. For example, name Calcium hydride. The individual will provide a step by step guide on how to come to the right answer. Each video is quick and easy.
Our budget only allows for $8 for 6 questions. In our experience, each question takes about 3-8 minutes to complete. For some individuals it may be quicker or slower.
Here's a list of units requiring practice questions. (each lesson contains 3 practice questions)
Percent composition
Theoretical and percent yield
Mole ratios
Mole to mole calculations
Mass to mass calculations
Mole to mass calculations
Mole and avogadro's number
Stoichiometry and molar volume of a gas
Moles and density
Calculations involving molar concentration c=n/v
Limiting reagents
Determining empirical formulas
Determining molecular formulas
Molarity
Energy and stoichiometry
