X-Margin is a distributed clearing solution that helps facilitate clearing of trades between parties without the need for a central counterparty. X-Margin particularly focuses on derivatives, verifying
margin usage of clients at venues, and ensuring collateral held is sufficient.
The X-Margin system consists of multiple components built on top of different technology stacks.
In-house trade booking venue with a Java + MongoDb backend and a React frontend
A Kx/kdb+ system that captures and processes time-series data for a number of analytics that integrate with a number of external venues and service providers
A privacy preserving computation layer implemented on top of SGX
We are looking to hire two intermediate level developers with the following skills for a security project.
Mandatory:
1. Fluent in C++
2. Experience developing with cryptographic libraries
3. Knowledgeable of security concepts, especially red-teaming
4. Comfortable converting mathematical equations to code
5. Experience with Linux, make and the g++ toolchain
6. Able to write comprehensive tests including unit, subsystem and system tests
7. Familiarity with hardware security development environments (SGX, TPM or TEE)
8. Performance tuning
9. Development with threads
Nice to have:
1. Proficiency in bash scripting
2. Windows development experience, including Visual Studio
3. Experience with formal verification tools such as Isabelle, Coq or Alloy
4. Understanding of zero knowledge proofs
5. Experience with the kx database and its Q programming language
6. X86/x64 assembly language
7. Experience with network programming and remote procedure calls
