We’re seeking talented freelancers with experience in audio collection and wake word detection to join us in an innovative project aimed at creating a cutting-edge wake word detection system!

What We’re Looking For:

·Freelancers with Experience: If you have a background in audio collection and can reach diverse English-speaking dialects across the US, we want you!

·Diverse Participants: Help us gather audio data from a wide range of demographics—different ages, genders, and accents.

Project Highlights:

·Objective: Collect high-quality audio data featuring specific wake words and related speech to enhance our wake word detection system.

·Target Participants: We aim to gather audio from 3000 speakers, focusing on:

·Age: Adults, primarily over 30, with a significant portion over 60.

·Gender: At least 40% representation from each gender.

·Dialects: Include Northeast, Southern, African American, Mid-West, and Hispanic accents.

Your Role:

·Data Collection Requirements:

·Record 5-15 positive utterances per speaker at varying speeds.

·Include 3-5 'confusing' utterances and 15-30 seconds of negative speech.

·Quality Standards:

·Clear recordings with minimal background noise (>=16bit, sampling rate >=16KHz).

·Proper labeling of audio files with metadata (participant details, environment, device used).
