Objective: solve an existing problem for me around legal contracts whereby the reader of the contract has to read the contract by using references and definitions that are scattered throughout the contract. The current 'design' of contracts makes reading them time-consuming and inefficient.
How it must work: when a person hovers over a defined term or a cross reference, it must be able to show them the full text for that particular reference without having to scroll up and down the document. This will require users to be able to upload one contract at a time in word or pdf only.
All legal contracts are structured in fundamentally similar ways in regards to the issue mentioned above. Words or phrases that have a contract-specific definition are capitalized and those definitions are explained in one or more "Definitions" sections in the contract or set of contracts related to a specific transaction.
