We are a mortgage company in Washington, DC that is growing quickly and building our web presence. Currently, we are redesigning our website to make the customer experience as seamless and easy as possible. We are looking for a creative, energetic UI/UX designer to reimagine the digital home buying experience from the ground-up.
The role:
- Create user personas and journeymaps to help design the site from the customer's perspective
- Create a web experience that leads users to take actions on the website (fill out an application, call a loan agent, etc) rather than passively visiting the site
- Create a user experience that keeps people coming back to the site, and thus increasing our SEO presence
- Create a super slick and modern UI that is memorable, unique, and eye-catching
- The final output will be a set of wireframes/mockups for both web and mobile that can be handed off to our development team
Please provide a portfolio - we'd love to see the great work you've done on other projects. Some real-estate/finance/mortgage experience is a plus. Figma is highly desired.
UI/UX training through General Assembly, Human Centered Design (HCD) or similar certification / degree are preferred.
