Linux Systems Administrator & 1st & 2nd line Tech Support
Looking for a Linux Tech Generalist to help with a wide variety tasks:
Testing new software that is being developed, provide feedback to developers on bugs and general improvements that will benefit the user.
Tech support via email (90% of the time). If your tech skill and communication is good then you'll be doing remote configuration for clients.
Update support documentation to try reduce unnecessary support emails.
Support ticket administration, Ensure tickets are not abandoned etc.
The fun stuff involves improving the software product. Linux skills are very useful. Any basic coding/scripting skills would be a bonus.
The ideal person is a linux systems admin with a good IP network skills.
Someone that is a self starter and gets involved in the team discussions i.e. needs little supervision.
Absolutely essential is someone that is chilled and easy to work with.
We have a similar post active since Jan 2016. Hoping for another similar setup.
