We currently operate 3 different golf courses and are in the process of moving to a new point of sale/crm platform.
Unfortunately, our current point of sale does not share the customer profiles across the different courses. So, for a customer who plays all 3 courses, they have 3 customer profiles (3 row entries) in the aggregate list.
For some background, these lists are compiled from customers of Courses A, B and/or C. So, customers who play at all 3 of the courses have 3 rows corresponding to their data rather than just 1. In some cases, there may even be a few more with things like typos, Tom/Thomas, etc.
Here's what we are hoping to accomplish:
Ideally, we would like to be able to condense this all into 1 clean aggregate list where each customer's information is essentially merged within a single row.
Some customers have @example.com emails entered. The email field was required, so for those customers that do not have email or want to provide one, that's what was used. For customers who only have the @example.com email(s) listed, we would like those to be deleted as our new system will allow for this to be an empty field.
If a customer does have an email address within some but not all of their rows, we are hoping to be able to keep the email address on file.
The total customer count on the combined database is just over 45,000 rows. Course A has 26,000 profiles, Course B has about 12,000 profiles and course C has about 7,000 profiles.
We are hoping to turn this over with 7-10 days to be able to more easily implement our new point of sale/crm platform.
