SEO optimization needed for a sports data analytics company

About us: Zelos is a performance analytics platform for Track & Field teams to better manage their competitive season and identify trends in progress. Our long term mission is to provide a globally accessible platform as a vehicle for individual empowerment, data literacy, and social mobility within athletics.


Were looking for an expert in SEO and outbound marketing to identify and implement opportunities for optimization of our Wordpress site in preparation for a crowdfunding launch.


SEO Specialist Responsibilities Include:

- Execute and improve organic search tactics for Google and BingOptimize copy and landing pages for maximum organic exposure and conversions while maintaining engaging plus targeted content

- Analyze web analytics to drive insights and data-driven content optimization recommendations

- Identification and implementation of keyword opportunities

- Execute link building and link profile management activities including opening accounts, webmaster outreach, relationship building, etc.

- Collect and analyze data to identify trends and insights to achieve maximum ROI in organic campaigns

- Track, report, and analyze website analytics and SEO initiatives and campaigns

- Research and analyze the competition and competitor websites



Must haves:

- You have proven experience in implementing SEO campaigns. Youre knowledgable about ranking factors and search engine algorithms. Solid understanding of performance marketing, conversion, and organic customer acquisition.

Nice to haves:

- You have a complementary understanding of other forms of digital marketing including content marketing, PPC, conversion optimization, landing page optimization, paid marketing, re-targeting, etc. You have experience with website analytics tools Including Google Analytics, SEMrush, etc.
