QA Automation Engineer / Tester

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and execute test plans and automated test scripts against defined requirements
- 5+ years experience with SDLC activities, to include experience performing multiple types of testing (Smoke, System, Integration, Performance, Functional, UAT, Regression)
- Report testing progress against planned activities and schedule
- Strong familiarity with QA industry best practices
- Identify, document, and manage defects through their lifecycle
- Ability to interface with Product and Development teams
- Perform black box testing to enforce the highest level of product quality


DESIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, an applicable field, or equivalent
- 5+ years prior experience as a QA tester supporting web based and client/server applications with experience writing detailed test plans and automated scripts
- 5+ years experience in an Agile development and testing environment
- Test experience in web-based testing (5+ years), automation testing (2+ years), functional testing (5+ years)
- 4+ years experience in JIRA, Zephyr, Jenkins, JavaScript, Selenium/Protractor, JMeter, Neo4J (cypher)
- Experience implementing and supporting Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment
- Strong organizational and analytical skills as well as an attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal English communication and problem solving skills
- Ability to effectively manage multiple work assignments
