Backend Java developer for Blockchain startup

Surge is an innovative start-up that is building the first blockchain-based platform to deliver the next generation Digital Supply Chain solution with modules and services in the area of Collaborative Product Lifecycle Management, Supply Chain management, Product Certification and traceability.

We are looking for a self-motivated Junior back-end Developer knowing how to build Java web applications and web services based on Spring framework.

You will be responsible for:
- designing and implementing RESTful API
- close communication with front-end developers for better API design and faster outcome
- maintaining and improving already existing codebase, web applications and web services
- designing and implementing new components, libraries and modules
- working on assigned tasks in efficient manner to meet deadlines

You must know:
- Java 8+, Java Stream API, Spring MVC, Spring Data (MongoDB, Redis), Spring Security, Annotations, FasterXML (Jackson) and RestTemplate
- OOP, Design Patterns and design principles such as SOLID, DRY and KISS
- write unit tests with jUnit
- Docker, Git
- write high quality, reliable, robust and easily adaptive code to quickly meet constantly changing business requirements

Its nice to know:
- J2EE, MongoTemplate, Apache Commons, Apache POI, Redis
- Hyperledger Fabric, Microsoft Azure API (Active Directory, Key Vault, Storage)
- Gradle, Maven
