Help me build a new website

I wanted to built our website on Squarespace by yours truly. I now have the domain .com and am under the understanding that I have to completely rebuild the site on the new domain. I want to hire someone to help me do that, in person, along with maybe giving me any guidance on website improvements, Im sure I can use many. I guess I want sort of a tutorial session where Im taught how to rebuild my site, and improve it.
