Experienced DFM/DFA Engineer needed for consumer product device

We are looking for an engineer with deep experience in manufacturing consumer products. We have 3D renderings suitable for 3D printing, but need an expert to bring our files to be ready for injection molding and manufacturing. We like the design we have, but are willing to make slight changes for ease of manufacturing and assembly. We make a premium device, but would like to simplify to reduce costs and likelihood of complications.

The final deliverable will be CAD files to send to our manufacturer, as well as a write up of suggested manufacturing processes. We ask that you remain available to answer questions as we get our manufacturing processes up and running. We also ask that you have regular touch points over the phone to transition knowledge to our team.

Needed skills and qualities: (1) proven track record of consumer product manufacturing and design (we will evaluate your previous work). (2) strong written and oral communication skills (3) ability to deliver a high quality deliverable on time. (4) flexibility with US eastern time zone working hours. We request at least 6 hours of responsiveness between 08:00 and 22:00 ET. (5) ability to work in Fusion 360.

We are a cold brew coffee device company. Loving cold brew coffee is a plus, but not required :) Once you sign an NDA, we will share the files and renderings.
