QC Inspector & Product Sourcing Agent - Shanghai

Looking for an experienced Quality Control Inspector living in Shanghai.
We are an Australian company that sells veterinary hospital equipment (surgery tables, surgery lights, stainless steel cages etc) and consumable products (suture material, microchips, gauze swabs, clippers etc).

Many of our products are manufactured in Shanghai with approximately 1 x 20 foot container leaving every 1-2 months.
We need a highly dependable person to do our Quality Assurance of our products during the manufacturing process and prior to packing. You will be involved in inspecting these products, discussing problems and changes to these products with us in Australia and with production managers in Shanghai.

You must have the following qualities:
- fluent in written and spoken Mandarin and English
- good at design
- high attention to detail
- very organised
- good communicator
- reliable
- good problem solver
- understand manufacturing processes for Stainless Steel
- a background in engineering would be useful

We are also looking to source additional products to increase our range. We are looking for someone to assist us with sourcing, sampling, quality assessment, negotiation and logistics for these additional products.
