We have a number of rental units and are currently running the business inside of QuickBooks. We have recently signed up for Rentec Direct and are looking to switch all accounts over from QuickBooks to Rentec.
Prefer someone who has some working knowledge of Rentec, or who is at least a fast learner and can delve into a new system like this. Basic accounting skills are essential as the work involves moving all accounts off of QuickBooks and onto Rentec. I need you to know more about accounting than I do.
After the initial Rentec setup and transfer of data, we may have ongoing bookkeeping work of a lesser volume.
Ideally the right candidate understand QuickBooks and Rentec. They know how to move data over and they know the right questions to ask to get the current data and get it moved over and formatted correctly. If I know more about accounting than you do, you're not the right person!
Good English skills are a real plus as I can communicate easily with you what needs done.
We also need to create a 'manual' of how the work is done so that others can do the work in the future. Your work needs to be 'reproducible' by another bookkeeper in the future. We are working to create an operations manuals for all parts of our business, and this would become part of it.
